Louise Allen isn’t just one person—it’s a name that represents my family. Louise is my middle name, and Allen is the middle name shared by both my husband and our son. My family is at the heart of everything I do, so it felt only natural to choose a name that reflects all three of us.

Our journey into soap-making began when my husband switched to bar soap to help soothe his winter skin issues. Curious about the benefits, I started researching cold-process soap making—especially after discovering that most commercial “liquid soaps” are actually synthetic detergents and harsh cleaners.

After much learning and experimentation, I began crafting nourishing, skin-loving soaps and products for my own family. What started as a personal project quickly became a true passion—one I now share with others through Louise Allen.
