We May Be Small...But We're Tiny & Mighty

We May Be Small...But We're Tiny & Mighty

There are some days as a small business owner that just stay with you - and our Spring Open House was one of them.

What made this event so special wasn't just what was planned...it was who showed up.  Not just our customers, but our vendors - who truly came together, stepped up, and made this event something more than I could have done on my own.

To say I'm grateful would be an understatement.

Over the past few months, I haven't been able to be at present in the store as I would have liked due to some health challenges.  And what I saw during this event reminded me of something really important....

Blue Moon isn't just a shop - it's a community,

From the moment the day started, there was an energy in the store that you could feel.  Vendors were connecting with customers, supporting each other and creating an atmosphere that was welcoming, fun, and full of life.

We had coffee and tea from Mill Mountain Coffee, donuts from Get Glazed, smiling faces, laughter, and even a few surprises along the way.  It felt like everything Blue Moon is meant to be - all in one day.

And here's the part that still amazes me...

Our total sales for the day exceeded the Olde Salem Days Event that draws thousands of people every September, by 20%.

That is huge.

Especially considering we didn't have thousands of people walking by.  People came because they heard about us.  Because our vendors shared.  Because our community showed up.

We also welcomed so many new faces - people who didn't even know we were here.  And now they do.

That's how something small starts to grow into something bigger.

I want to take a moment to recognize our top selling vendors for the day.

🥇 Pam Graves - IOD Designs

🥈 Valerie Garst - Tie Dye Fashion Designs

🥉 Leah Yetzer - Sea & Stone Jewelry

Thank you for the heart and effort you put into your products - it shows.

As I stood back and watched everything unfold, I realized something...

We may be small - but we are tiny and mighty.

And this is just the beginning.

We're now talking about making this a regular thing - possibly the third Saturday of each month - and if this event was any indication, it's something you're going to want to be a part of.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported, shared, and believed in what we are building here.

It means more than you know 💙

✨Stay Inspired,
